Night Photography

Taking pictures at night can be used to create mysterious and amazing photos. The longer the exposure associated with low-light can create unique effects and unusually sharp photos. And when I say long exposures I mean exposure lasted from half a second to even 15 - 30 seconds. Below are suggested: Top 5 important tips for photographing at night in order to succeed.

1. Using the flash
With insufficient light from the moon, most photographers will supplement the light from hand-held flashing, a technique known as “light painting”. Other, more sophisticated, they can also use movie lights and additional light as a flashlight. However, it is strongly encouraged not to use so much flash and actually trying to capture the natural light from the environment.

2. Equipment
For low light photos, a tripod is much needed. Is this normal or a miniature one, they will save a lot of trouble. As also mentioned, a miniature tripod can be very useful, since it is usually small enough to fit in trouser pockets, so that you can take it anywhere.

For me personally, I will use what is available at that time, when I want to take a picture. For example, park benches, garbage And, even ground, etc, to “help” me with my photo-taking.

3. Calculating exposure
This may be regarded as the most ambitious part of the photo taking. In manual mode, it may be difficult to estimate exposure for the perfect shot. With my experience shows that some cameras come with “auto” function that automatically calculates the “perfect” exposure to images shot. Personally, the best shots come from practice, practice is more experience, more experience and comes from a nice and beautiful photography. Take my advice, do it yourself!

4. Spare Parts
Each camera has a protection case / bag, do not forget that bring along your camera with you. This is to prevent moisture from the camera permeate the night temperature. I do not want to happen.

Next, and in order to spare the most important changes will always bring BATTERIES EXTRA! I do not believe I did not need further explanation. ADDITIONAL BATTERIES!

5. First, security
Security is of paramount importance
. There are places in the country, especially in cities, which are very dangerous at night. Remember that if it is to shoot, you have valuable equipment with you. So please be aware of your surroundings before deciding on the location.
